Draftline was conceptualized as an AI-native workspace where multi-tenant teams can generate, review, and collaborate on structured domain documentation in real time.

Rather than bolting AI features onto a legacy document editor, the core editing experience was designed from day one around collaborative agent suggestions and automated citations.

Security and tenant isolation were critical architecture requirements:

• Usage-Based Metering: Real-time token consumption tracking synced with Stripe usage records ensures accurate and transparent billing.
• Streaming Generation: Fast edge-to-client token streaming gives authors instant feedback with zero UI blocking.

Deployment & Reliability

Deployed on modern serverless infrastructure, the application scales transparently with traffic spikes while maintaining strict sub-100ms API response budgets outside generation streams.
